Counseling (Virtual): Telemedicine is allowing people to have access to therapy in their homes, offices, and cars when needed. For some clients, going to an office for a therapy appointment is not always possible and they miss out on receiving the support they need. Meeting with a secure internet connection provides them safety and comfortableness of being in their familiar surroundings. This works for busy professionals, stay at home parents, and those without the care in their area. Jennifer is licensed in the state of Virginia and able to see clients for therapy, who reside there.
Coaching: Jennifer has been helping many people heal from eating disorders for years. You will find the work to be different than any other recovery coaches. Jennifer is an ICF trained coach and aims to be challenging and encouraging, to partner with you (and your treatment team, if appropriate) on your recovery journey. Recovery coaching is an adjunct to therapy or can be used as a stand-alone for those in later stages of recovery. She sees clients in her virtual office for a weekly 50 session via a secure and private video platform and email support between sessions. Sessions are focused on the present and on action and goals for the week. Clients can reside anywhere to receive these services. Contact her for an initial phone call to ask any questions you may have.

Jennifer is a sought out consultant and speaker for her engaging educational and thought-provoking conversations when sharing with a large audience or smaller groups. Jennifer offers consultation to other providers who are looking for new direction in a clients’ care or to brainstorm new approaches to helping a client get “unstuck”.
Media: The world has seen their fair share of people doing “unhealthy” things to get “healthy”. They have also seen many “before” and “after” pictures of eating disorder recovery. Jennifer works with print, audio, and visual media to bring her message of Recovery RedefinED to consumers. The world needs realistic stories and strategies that show the messy middle of recovering from an eating disorder. You can contact her for all your media needs.
